    The Cheetah Cub cylinder is the son of the already proven Banshee Cheetah cylinder.  The Cub was born to fill the need for a moderately priced mono-block cylinder that uses stock configuration components.  The Cub uses a stock configuration head (stock or aftermarket), uses the stock configuration reed blocks and intake (stock or aftermarket).  The Cub does not have powervavles.  The Cub cylinders are a plated bore which offers many advantages over the old tech cast iron sleeves.  The Cheetah Cub Spec 1 porting is considered Full Race Spec porting as compared to a stock cylinder.  The Cub features the same exhaust port configuration featuring sub-exhaust ports.  The Cub features the same 6 transfer port per cylinder layout.  This equates to extreme performance with great reliability!

    Here is a scenario that we think will make the Cub the pinnacle of performance for many Banshee riders.  You have a stock'ish motor.  You've got pipes, you've got a billet head, and you have V-Force already.  You are in the market looking for a bit more power- so you are thinking of building a race ported 4mm motor.  This is where the Cub really comes in!  You set-out to build your stock cylinder 4mm stroker motor- cost for port work and boring will around $500.  The Cub cylinder set will cost you $875.  There is a strong market for used stock cylinders in that you can sell your stock cylinders for $250-$300.  The sale of your stock cylinders can be used to offset the cost of your new Cub cylinders.  Going this route you can get into the Cubs for nearly the same price as it would cost to set-up your stock cylinders.  The Cub in any configuration will always make more power than a comparable stock cylinder.  Additionally down the road when its time to rebuild a top-end there is no machining costs!  Install new pistons and go!  Less down time, less maintenance expense!

The Cub is available in several different configurations!

-Stock stroke, 65mm bore and 68mm bore

-58mm stroke (+4mm), 65mm bore and 68mm bore

-61mm stroke (+7mm), 65mm bore and 68mm bore.

-Of course Patriot Racing will develop a custom set-up using a plus 10mm stroker crank in the 68mm bore size!
