The Honda 250R first introduced as an air cooled three wheeler in 1981, steadily grew as one of the greatest ATVs ever produced culminating in the final year of production in 1989 as the Fourtrax TRX250R.  The Fourtrax line though even out of production for well over a decade now- is arguably the best all-around ATV produced.  Equally adept at tight woods trail riding to wide open dune riding and drag racing- the heart of its success has been its 250cc 2 Stroke power plant.  The engine is known to be exceptionally strong and reliable.

Patriot Racing has worked many years developing engine packages for the 250R engine line.  From stock cylinder modifications to one-off hybrid engine combinations ranging up to 440cc's- we've done countless hours of testing and validation to provide our customers the very best in performance.  There are several areas that the 250R engine needs some special attention, we've worked diligently to find them and find cost effective and valid solutions to those problems.

Quick Change Clutch Cover

Now available through Patriot Racing is a quick change clutch cover, that allows access to the clutch assembly without the need to remove the entire cover.  Tip the bike up onto the left side and you do not even need to drain the oil!  Clutch covers are priced as an exchange basis.  Covers are available polished.
